Just a few minutes ago, I had the honour of presenting our very first VWTraders.com Choice Award to an incredible car owner here at the show. In addition to the plaque, CIP1 was kind enough to sponsor the award with a $250 Gift Certificate. How cool is that? A huge thank you to CIP1 for supporting the community and VWTraders!!
For years I’ve been frustrated with the same old options for buying and selling air-cooled VWs. The existing sites feel outdated, clunky, hard to navigate, and they barely work on a phone. And if you try selling on Marketplace? Good luck — you’re limited to a tiny 500km radius, which dramatically reduces your chances of finding the right buyer. Not to mention if your not part of the private FB group, now you have to answer skill testing questons, wait for approval just to see a car. Then your entire feed will be full of club news that really doesn't relate to you.
I knew there had to be a better way.
So I built VWTraders.com — a clean, modern, mobile-friendly classifieds site made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.
This is a fresh new platform dedicated 100% to air-cooled Volkswagens. Whether you’re selling a Beetle, a Bus, a Karmann Ghia, a Type 3, or hunting for that perfect project — this is the place.
My vision is simple:
There’s really nothing else like this on the internet right now.
This is Day One, and we have big plans. Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be adding more features, improving the experience based on your feedback, and growing this into the go-to destination for the air-cooled VW scene.
