Considering selling my 1967 Beetle. It’s in great driving condition with a very nice, tastefully restored interior. Still wears most of its original Ruby Red paint with the requisite patina. The body is in very good shape with the only rust spot being the usual spot under the rear seat due to battery leakage over the years. Heater channels are still very nice and rust free (yes, the heat works very well). It’s got the original headliner which is showing its age.
The motor is original and has been rebuilt at least once. It’s showing its age but still starts up every time and pulls well. It does have a noticeable piston slap on the 1-3 cylinder side, but I have all the parts to completely rebuild the motor to include a very nice engine case which has been align bored and a set of rebuilt OG cylinder heads.
